On your tour you will visit the colonial city center, the modern Miraflores with its excellent restaurants and amazing shopping opportunities as well as one of the best museums of Peru. Hard to believe you can also swim with sea lions right here in the capital – we make it possible!
Day 1: City Tour of colonial downtown and visit the museum Larco Herrera
Day 2: Swim with the sea lions in Callao
In the morning you will start your City Tour with your private guide and vehicle. You will be visiting colonial downtown with a visit to the cathedral and the monastery San Francisco. Afterwards we head towards the Museum Larco Herrera to see the cultural treasures of the last 3.000 years. The afternoon will be at your free disposal to stroll through Miraflores, go shopping or just relax. (Hotel in Lima)
You will head towards the port of Lima which is located in Callao. A 4 hour boat ride along the coast line will give you a stunning view not only of the metropolis Lima but also of the pirate island of San Lorenzo. Near the islands of Palomino you can see large see lion colonies and plenty of aquatic birds. Here you can jump into the pacific and actually swim with the sea lions. We will either take you back to your hotel or to the nearby airport in case you have an outgoing flight to another destination.
